All-time Full DDC

The Display Data Channel or DDC is a digital connection between a computer display and a graphics adapter that allows the display to communicate its specifications to the controlled system’s graphic adapter. Most modern KVM switches just pass DDC to the system at the computer system boot-up stage. ConnectPRO’s “All-time Full DDC” technology will keep DDC communication at any stage of computer system operation and automatically update even when different display devices are changed or upgraded to all the channels connected to the KVM switches or extenders.

USB DDM

Almost all traditional high-end KVM switches are built based on keyboard and mouse emulation technologies to communicate systems connectivity with a KVM switch. However, since the keyboard and mouse signals and their working patents are only “simulated/emulated”, it is impossible to have a “super” emulator cover all types of I/O devices. As a result, KVM switch users suffer inconsistent performance and compatibility problems with connected I/O devices.

With ConnectPRO’s patented DDM (Dynamic Device Mapping) Technology, the communication between shared devices and connected systems is maintained 100% of the time even when switching the shared devices from the controlled systems.

This prevents interruptions in communication between shared devices and connected systems/computers, and reduces wait time when switching KVM ports. As a result, when switching ports there is no more lag time while the computer has to re-recognize the connected devices. DDM technology along with another patented dual-core KVM distribution switching technology has become the most reliable and robust KVM switch core technology in the world.

Click-switch

ConnectPRO provides state-of-the-art switching and hot-key selection. One-touch Hot-key (assign function keys on keyboard as switching buttons). On Mouse Click-Switch (patented) – use mouse’s function button for system selection. This is the fastest and easiest way to change controlled systems. Select hot-key combination directly on the front panel of KVM switch. Built-in IR (Infrared) supports wireless remote control – for simple port selection. Serial-port control – for system or device-triggered port selectio.  (Currently for OEM/ODM customization only)

Display Control Channel

OSD (On Screen Display) technology is used on KVM switches to show control and selection functions on top of the selected channel’s existing display contents. The quality of OSD images is inconsistent and unreliable. Its size and positioning depend on the video resolution of each individual system connected.

With ConnectPRO’s patented DCC controlling menu and KVM, the configuration selection is displayed on a dedicated independent video channel. The quality of the controlling menu is secure and reliable. Most importantly, OEM and ODM projects can be easily implemented using their own DCC control content faster and better with ConnectPRO’s open-patent partner program.

Dual-core KVM switch

Computing power of modern computer systems/servers and OS systems is getting faster and more complicated. The only way to implement a stable KVM solution is to improve the total hardware and system performance of the KVM switch itself.

ConnectPRO’s newly patented advanced Multi-core KVM switch technology uses dedicated processing chips for each controlled channel, enabling more stable and much faster KVM switching. It also reduces the compatibility issue while a user may integrate local and remote KVM control/access or integrate between analog and digital KVM hardware in the future.

X-Structure KVM Switch

KVMX is a modularized KVM switch hardware and firmware structure system that allows KVM switch manufacturers or designers to provide a variety of sharing configurations (not limited to just sharing keyboard, video display and mouse) with less inventory cost. X-structured KVM switches meet the special application needs of diverse user groups.
