ConnectPRO's all-new UR-14 is the most reliable desk-top solution for controlling 4 USB computers from a single console. With 4 USB hub ports, a customer can connect more than just a keyboard and mouse to the KVM, allowing for additional USB 2.0 devices to be shared. Switch between the computers with the push of a button.
The front panel push-buttons are designed to let the customer know which ports have a powered computer connected, and which port is currently active. A buzzer is built in to give the user an audio confirmation whenever the KVM switches ports, though if the customer chooses they may disable the buzzer sound with the push of a button.
Featuring All-the-time Full DDC transparency to all ports, the USB PRO line guarantees you'll be ready to implement Windows 7 without unneeded frustration. This is a Windows 7 compatible KVM.

Stoakssw, 5 Stars - "Works well with Windows 7"
July 31, 2010
If you're looking for a KVM switch that works well with Windows 7, this is it. My existing KVM switch worked well until Windows 7. Win7 has a feature wherein it is in constant communication with the display. If the display disappears or the display resolution changes, Win7 reacts and tries to do something reasonable. This works pretty well unless you're using a KVM switch that doesn't mimic the DDC / EDID data for the display when switched away. The result can be very aggravating with windows and icons moving from the locations you have placed them. This is particularly problematic if you are running a laptop with an external display and the switch is connected to the external display. Anyway, this switch has great DDC/EDID support and works well with Win7. I wish it had keyboard shortcuts for switching displays like my old switch had, but that's really minor. I'm running a 1600x1200 display and the quality is very good. I am very pleased with the switch.

Timothy, 5 Stars - "Great product, no issues"
July 30, 2010
I have one of these at home, and a coworker also uses one per my recommendation. It has endured heavy use for 3+ years. It works great. I have had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever.
I have used this with:
- Windows XP, Vista, 7
- Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008
- A Pentium 4 PC with an AMD GPU
- An Intel i7 PC with an nVidia GPU
- An pre-Pentium 4 PC with an AMD processor and AMD GPU
- VMware Workstation 5 & 6
- Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro (USB only)
- 3 different Microsoft mice (all USB only)
- 2 different IBM laptops
- A HP ProLiant DL380 G3 (need a PS/2 keyboard for pre-boot items, limitation of the server BIOS)
- Many / most Wyse WinTerm models, all the way back to the 3360 (circa 1999), and including many/most of the current models: The s, v, c, and r models running Wyse ThinOS, Windows CE, Linux, XPe, and Windows Embedded Standard
-The Bottom Line-
This KVM works great. Great product, great value. I would buy another one.
Highly recommended.
