New and enhanced Video Extender to be released in the coming month.
For applications requiring a video extension of up to 1000 ft., the new ConnectPRO Cat5 Video Extender should be the perfect solution. To be released at the end of April, this will feature brand new video adjustment/tuning technology, and also allow for a local passthrough port. An IR remote will be an optional accessory.

ConnectPRO has released the UC-14 KVM Switch, which includes hotkey control and On-Screen Display. This is a 4-port USB KVM switch which includes four 6' Cables.
The UC-14 is the ideal solution for IT Professionals looking to connect USB Servers (Windows, Mac OS, or SUN) to one console. Proudly Announcing new features and design for the DR-1000
Now available is the newly released version of the DR-1000 KVM over IP device by ConnectPRO. The look will certainly remind you of it's 8 and 16-port relatives, but keep in mind that this handsome device is flexible to work with over 100 of the most popular KVM switches on the market.

The 2-port Video Splitter has been upgraded to a Video Enhanced 3-port version.
Officially as of today, the VSE-12 will only be available by special order. For general orders both directly and through our distribution channels, the VSE-103 will be taking it's place.
The VSE-103 is a 3-port video splitter designed to improve upon the performance of our previously existing 2-port VSE-12, while also providing an additional video port. All of this will be provided at no additional charge, the pricing for the VSE-103 will remain the same as the VSE-12 has been. New great features, same great price.
Netscape browser is compatible with ConnectPRO's Remote KVM products
Netscape has launched the new 8.0 release of their famed browser, which is just finished with beta testing, and thanks to their unique rendering engine - users can now enable Active X downloads. This feature will allow them to use the new Netscape browser with ConnectPRO's full line of Remote KVM products.
As most users of such products are aware, Active X provides much faster and more stable access than comparitive products using Java, so ConnectPRO is pleased to find another browser being introduced with Active X functionality.

ConnectPRO Reduces Pricing on 5 SKU's
Starting out the year with customer focus in mind, ConnectPRO has lowered pricing on the popular DR-1000, and all VSE video splitters, as well as the VSA-18 video splitter. All prices are effective immediately as of January 01, 2005.
The DR-1000 is also featuring new firmware supporting access from Windows XP SP2 systems, and featuring greater performance.
ConnectPRO SL-18 now comes standard with Dual-Console
To further push the IP KVM module, ConnectPRO has announced that all SL-18 switches will now come standard with Dual-Console ports. This allows the StreamLine console to function alongside the DR-1000, which offers extended remote controlling abilities. Improvements in the Master-IT StreamLine Cable Extender

What used to be just a loosely hanging cable is now a firmly adjustable metal arm. This can ensure that the cable doesn't get loosened or pinched when sliding the console in and out of the rack.

StreamLine 2 KVM Switch / Console with 17" LCD screen now available
The new Integrated 1U Rack Mount 17-inch LCD monitor, Keyboard Drawer and KVM switch for rack cabinets, is now available from ConnectPRO. This is a more enhanced version of the original StreamLine series, which will still be available. The new version is equipped with a 17" LCD screen, supporting resolutions up to 1280x1024 (SXGA), and a 105-key Keyboard (available in Multiple Languages). Connectpro has announced a major price reduction in their PR-12 KVM switches. This change reflects in the pricing, however the PR-12 switch continues to meet the ConnectPRO standard for Professional Reliability and Stability. The reduction in price on the PR-12-KIT is 20% off the old MSRP which will save the customer roughly $20. The KIT price is only $4 more than the switch by itself, making it impossible to pass-by.

StreamLine Implements Dynamic Upgradable Configuration Technology
ConnectPRO's StreamLine integrated KVM Switch and Console is implementing a new Dynamic Upgradable Configuration, known as DUC Technology. This is designed to allow the StreamLine to be a product that will only get better over time, and can evolve to work in any setting needed. Allowing Peace of Mind, the DUC Technology makes sure that even beyond the warranty's expiration, component parts can still be upgraded or replaced as needed.

New Warranty Program for Master-IT PRO
ConnectPRO is pleased to announce the new warranty program for the PS/2 KVM switch line , Master-IT PRO. Previously with this line, customers received a standard two-year warranty. Now with the rollout of the new program, customers receive a standard three-year warranty when purchasing any Master-IT PRO KVM switch.
The new warranty will not negatively effect pricing for any of the Master-IT PRO series switches. This action on behalf of ConnectPRO customers is meant to reward their confidence in ConnectPRO products.
New StreamLine Packaging Introduction
ConnectPRO is introducing new, specialized packaging for Master-IT StreamLine units. The new packaging is much more durable than the original and will further ensure the efficient delivery of StreamLine products to the customers. Effective immediately, StreamLine units will all be utilizing this new packaging. This new packaging provides more buffer space, thereby significantly increasing product protection and overall durability.
